Through CAB meetings, education about Casa Esperanza programs to others, experience of the “committee/board process” and active participation in the meetings, CAB members become stakeholders in the recovery community and become a voice for the recovery community and Casa Esperanza.
CAB also provides a mechanism for open communication for people in recovery to have meaningful input into the development of policies, activities, and programming by Casa Esperanza providers. They can suggest new services or events for consideration by the management team of the agency and offer significant suggestions in Casa’s special events held annually like graduation, community picnic, fishing trip, and other similar events. CAB members act as a representative of consumers between the agency and consumers. They also represent Casa Esperanza at events and community activities.
Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month
