Self-Assessment Test

Self-Esteem & Codepency Self-Exam

The term codependency refers to an emotional fastening and an obsessive-compulsive attitude towards the control of other people or things, such as drugs or alcohol. Identifying patterns include declining to accept that he/she has a problem, low self-esteem, conformity, and control.  We see these issues manifested in the abuse of drugs/alcohol, anorexia, bulimia, irrational thinking, dissatisfactions, emotional emptiness, and in obsession of others.

Choose 1 point every time that your answer is ALWAYS;
Choose 2 points when your answer is SOMETIMES;
Choose 3 points when it NEVER occurs.

It takes time for me to decide on things.

I judge myself harshly.

I feel shame when I receive recognition, praises and/or gifts.

It is difficult for me to communicate my wishes and needs to others .

I value the approval of others more than my own.

I don't see myself as someone valuable or worthy to receive love from others.
