Hope in Action 2007
Please join us for Casa Esperanza's third annual gala benefit—Hope in Action 2007—celebrating over 20 years of recovery and honoring Dr. Hortensia Amaro, Director of Institute on Urban Health Research and Distinguished Professor, Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University; Kevin W. Fitzgerald, Former State Representative and current Sergeant-at-Arms; and, Dr. Pedro Garrido-Castillo, Director of Family Services, Brookside Community Health Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Festivities will include live music performances, dinner and dancing.

Casa Esperanza’s 2nd Annual Gala Benefit took place on October 25, 2006 at the Back Bay Events Center and honored Speaker of the House Salvatore F. DiMasi; Mayra Rodriguez-Howard, Director of The Public Health Institute and former Director of the Bureau of Substance Abuse Services; and Esther Schlorholtz, Senior Vice President, CRA Officer for Boston Private Bank & Trust, Co.
Thanks to our generous contributors we were able to raise over $44,000 that went directly towards programs benefiting families in recovery at Casa Esperanza, exceeding our first year’s net revenue by more than $9,000!
