Client Profiles

The clients we serve not only contend with addiction but also have histories of domestic violence or sexual abuse, and suffer with the resulting trauma. Nearly 25% suffer from a dual Mental Health Disorder Diagnosis. Close to 75% are homeless, 65% lack a high-school diploma, and 94% lack a job or source of income.  Close to 90% will have at least one significant medical condition, including Hepatitis C and Asthma and at least 25% of the target population will be people living with HIV.  Most have lost custody of their children and have limited or no contact with them as a result of their addictions.

Against these incredible odds, these men and women defy the stereotypes of substance abusers as they work together to create new lives for themselves and their families.
